We first met Alan Bradford in Lasting Chances, my third book in the Chance on Love series. I fell in love with his character when I first introduced him, but I didn’t have a love interest for him figured out yet. Alan is the data analytics guru for The Generals baseball team. Remember the nerdy data guy from “Moneyball” played by actor Jonah Hill? He was my inspiration for Alan.
Brianna Davis first appears in Catching Cash’s Heart. She’s the super model “safe date” for pitcher Cash Warren. She even meets Alan at an event that she attends with Cash. It dawned on me when I wrote that scene: wouldn’t it be intriguing for the super model to fall in love with the nerdy data analytics guy? Book 2 in the series was born!
