When I read this list on USA Today, it brought back lots of memories! I’m sure you can add to the list…
- Memorize a phone number
- Use a phone book to find a company to do work around your house
- Sell your car with a cardboard sign stuck on the windshield
- Figure out math in your head
- Call and ask a family member “Where are you?”
- Tell time by hands on a clock
- Make photo albums
- Have a CD or record collection
- Make mixtapes
- Call a theater to get movie times
- Record your favorite TV programs on tape
- Watch shows when they are broadcast live
- Run to the store for a last-minute gift
- Cut articles out of the newspaper
- Send a handwritten letter
- Look up the spelling of words in a dictionary (book)
- Use a phone booth to make a call
- Carry cash
- Use a travel agent
- Get your cancelled checks back from the bank every month
Hey there – how fun! There are several things on the list that I actually still do – at least sometime. I usually carry a little bit of cash – especially if I know I’m going to something like a Farmers Market, etc. – and we do watch some things live – usually football games!
On the other hand, I don’t use printed maps to figure out how to get to some place!
*See you soon! Pat*

I agree! Several of these I still do, too! Carl’s mom cuts lots of articles from the newspaper – she’s always sending them to us. Carl does math in his head.
We are looking forward to seeing you in July!
