My Journey as an Author – getting a Manuscript Evaluation

I want to keep improving my writing skills and published product, so I got a professional manuscript evaluation on my next book, Stealing Alan’s Heart. Wish I would have done this on my previous books!

Bonnie McKnight from Lady Knight Editing gave me so many things to consider in terms of plot, character development and general writing tips (show don’t tell, dialogue flow, etc). It made me realize that I’m too close to my work to see plot issues, timeline issues, POV problems and so forth. The experience was very eye opening. Bonnie is a terrific person to work with – very supportive and helpful. I highly recommend her editing services.

I’m still targeting April 30 to launch Stealing Alan’s Heart. But, I want to incorporate Bonnie’s comments, so the launch may get delayed until early May. This is going to be my most compelling book yet! Stay tuned here for future launch updates.
